Paper packaging and printing specialist, Forum Packaging has invested more than £1 million in buildings, machinery and supply chain improvements since a management buy-out last year.
The latest arrival at the Lincolnshire company is a new fleet of three 44-tonne side trailers which will be used for transporting paper sack packaging and Forum’s new Minipak bags for the retail flour industry.
The trailers have been manufactured and liveried by Don-Bur near Stoke on Trent at a cost of around £150,000 and are an addition to the fleet of vehicles provided for Forum Packaging by Bibby Distribution.
The vehicles arrived at the firm’s Horncastle headquarters last week and went into service on Monday 23rd July.
“We’re extremely pleased with the look and feel of the new trailer units,” said Forum Packaging’s Managing Director, Mark Spivey.
“They show that Forum Packaging is committed to improving and investing in the business to benefit our growing list of new customers.”
